SQL Server Manager Studio has no problem connecting but Mirth started having issues. I've actually done the opposite and switch back to jtds driver, for now. Just this past week I've started having issues. The MS Drivers have been working for me the last 2-3 months in development without issue. If you don't have permissions to master this may be the cause. On the account set the default database for the account to a database the account has access (default is usually master).
Make sure the accounts are setup for SQL Server Authentication since you have integrated security = false. I haven't quite figured it out but here are some ideas.
